Anawangin Cove

ANAWANGIN COVE

My first travel post, ten-te-ne-nen, ANAWANGIN COVE!

Actually, the planned itinerary was to go to Caramoan. However, due to some unavoidable circumstances some of my travel mates backed out. But its still okay. Anawangin Cove is deeply exceptional.

I went there with my friends I went across when I was still employed in ChinaBank. We were 14 in the group. One of us organized the tour by finding an affordable tour operator to facilitate our tour. She book our tour with Pinoy Caravan. The budget was P2,000 for the whole tour. Van transportation, boat ride, camping gears, and full board meals are included. For me, the budget is really worth it.

The Journey
The call time was 5:00 am and the meeting place was at SM North EDSA Annex, the meeting place is not a hassle because I only live in Mindanao Avenue which is only 5 minutes away from SM North. Unfortunately, one of our travel mate was from Taguig and she wasn't able to wake up on time. Arrgghhh! the cause of delay. Nonetheless, we waited for her. She arrived around 6:30 am. From then, the 2.5-hour journey to began. We passed on Bataan and Subic. Due to boredom we just make ourselves enjoy the trip by making fun on the names of the establishments that we pass through that resembles the names of our friends that were not around. So childish but we enjoyed the game.

Around 9:30 am, we arrived at San Antonio. From there a motorized bangca will take you to Anawangin Cove. The boat ride will last for about 30 minutes. While on the ride, you will pass across several islands. As the ride is getting far, so as the signal bar getting low. Yes, no signal available in the island- any network. The signal disruption marked the start of our detachment from our comfort zones.

The Land
Kasi you will be provided with the things you need tapos ikaw na bahala. Ewan ko, pero nagustuhan ko ang set-up.

The Island
